World Mental Health Day: Remember to Keep Oral Health in Mind

Today, on World Mental Health Day (10 October), the Dental Health Foundation is highlighting the important link between mental health and oral health.

Mental health challenges can affect motivation, energy levels, and daily routines, sometimes making it harder to maintain regular brushing, flossing, or dental visits. In turn, poor oral health can impact confidence, comfort, and overall wellbeing, creating a cycle that affects both mind and body.

To support conversations around this connection, we’ve developed our “Keeping Oral Health in Mind” postcard, which offers simple, practical advice for maintaining good oral care habits while supporting mental wellbeing.
