Traveller Children Dental Health

The Dental Health Foundation Caring for Your Child’s Gums and Teeth, 0-8 years is an educational booklet developed to promote children’s oral health within the Traveller Community.

The aim of the resource is to support Community Health Care Workers by enhancing their knowledge and understanding of oral health — from birth through early childhood — and by equipping them with the skills and confidence to share this information effectively within their communities. It is designed to help parents and carers in the Traveller Community nurture and maintain their children’s oral health, laying the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
