❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️
Love is in the air… and so is fresh breath! 💕
This Valentine’s Day, don’t forget to show your smile some love too.
🪥 Brush twice a day — at bedtime and one other time, using fluoride toothpaste (1450ppm).
🧵 Clean between your teeth daily with floss or interdental brushes to reduce plaque build-up.
👅 Gently brush your tongue to remove bacteria and help keep breath fresh.
💧 Stay hydrated — plenty of water supports a healthy mouth.
🍃 Chew sugar-free gum between meals to boost saliva and help loosen food particles.
If you notice persistent bad breath, it could sometimes be linked to infections like tonsillitis or sinus issues, or other underlying health conditions. Speak to your dentist or doctor if it doesn’t improve.
Noticing bleeding gums or ongoing bad breath? You may have signs of gum disease. Your dental team can help, don’t ignore it.
Making healthy lifestyle choices matters too. Smoking and excessive alcohol increase the risk of gum disease, bad breath and tooth staining.
And remember to visit your dental team at least once a year for advice, a check-up, and a mouth cancer screening.
💗 Happy Valentine’s Day — because caring for yourself (and your smile) is the ultimate act of love.
