The new World Health Organisation (WHO) policy will prioritise equity in oral healthcare, and encourage countries to design health services around the needs of people living with a disability.
The Dental Health Foundation student prize for 2026 was awarded to Darshini Ramasubbu, for her research project entitled: Piloting the Modified Oral Status Survey Tool in a Nursing Home Setting.
