Trinity College Dublin hosted the International Assoication of Disability and Oral Health 2026. The new World Health Organisation (WHO) policy will prioritise equity in oral healthcare, and encourage countries to design health services around the needs of people living with a disability.

As part of the conference the Dental Health Foundation was delighted to award the student prize for 2026 to Dr Darshini Ramasubbu, for her research project entitled: Piloting the Modified Oral Status Survey Tool in a Nursing Home Setting.
