The Dental Health Foundation is delighted to publish our Annual Report for 2022.
2022 was a busy year for us as we continued to advocate for optimum oral health for all in Ireland.
Some of our highlights included the roll out of new oral health resources such as our Cleft Lip/ Palate postcard and our ‘Caring for Your Child’s Teeth 0-5 years of age” brochure.
We also translated a selection of our resources into Ukrainian and Romanian reducing the language barrier for those wishing to access oral health information.
We distributed over 3,000 resources as gaeilge to schools around the country which we hope will aid teachers in the SPHE programmes.
We worked with organisations such as the Irish Men’s Sheds Association and the Healthy Ireland Smart Start Programme (HISS) and look forward to continuing these collaborations this year.
We saw a huge increase in resource requests from 2021 to 2022, distributing approximately 85,675 resources throughout Ireland.
