Oral Health Promotion Research Group (Irish Link)

The ‘Irish link’ branch of the Oral Health Promotion Research Group (UK) was established in September 2003. It strives to encourage the development of joint working partnerships and shared experiences in Oral Health Promotion through the North and South of Ireland.The group aims to raise the status of Oral Health Promotion, through the dissemination of good practice based on a sound theoretical framework and practical research. Since the inaugural meeting the group has increased its membership and presented five very successful conferences

• Partnership Working.The theme of our Conference for 2009, to be held in Tullamore Co. Offaly on the 2nd & 3rd of April is … ‘Health Promoting Resources in Practice’.The Dental Health Foundation is very supportive of the Irish Link Oral Health Promotion Research Group and sponsors an annual bursary. The Bursary presented at the annual conference facilitates implementation of the winning Oral Health Promotion Proposal.
