Esat Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2002

The Dental Health Foundation sponsors a special award each year in the 'ESAT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition' The 2002 exhibition saw a record number of entries and each student who succeeded in reaching the exhibition stage should take pride in their achievement in participating at this level within the competition.
The Dental Health Foundation is particularly pleased at the quality of the work produced by students on the topic of oral health. The winners of the Dental Health Foundation Young Scientist of the Year Special Award were Heather Barry and Aisling McStay from Santa Sabina School, Greenfield Road, Sutton, Co. Dublin. This senior group project looked at which foods inhibit plaque. They are pictured below being presented with their award by Ms D. Sadlier, Executive Director of the Dental Health Foundation, Ireland.
